2024 Moor Street Christmas Steam Train. The polar express™ train ride leaves birmingham moor street station heading for the north pole four times a day for 20 days between 26 november and 23 december. The christmas steam train ride lasts for around 80 minutes, travelling to rawtenstall and back, meeting santa, mrs claus and some other festive favourites, plus carols and a gift.
